How It Began
The conference began in 2021 as the Her Brave Women and Girls Conference.
Coach TeKenya K. Johnson created the experience from a desire to provide a safe and empowering space where women and girls could be seen, heard, encouraged, and reminded of their strength.
What began as Her Brave has continued to grow.
As the vision expanded, it became clear that healing could not be limited to one group. Men have stories. Women have stories. Young people have stories. Families and communities also carry wounds, wisdom, purpose, and the ability to create change.
Now, in its fifth year, the conference has evolved into:
